Java with John is a blog I founded with the hopes of helping like-minded software developers, whether they are very new to coding or more advanced, advance their learning and careers. Using the experiences and knowledge I gained from personal learning, books, major projects, and professional experience, I hope to give you actional knowledge and advice you can use to better yourself and your future. While I plan for this blog to be centered around developing skills with Java, I also decided to keep my previously written soft skills content, the Soft Skills and Ramblings series, to help developers in a career and personal development direction.
Additionally, with this blog, I hope to develop a strong personal brand for myself as the Java Specialist I hope to be. By marketing myself and my skills, I hope to build a long-term impact on the community that can later help me find developer opportunities to use my skills for the betterment of an organization and the world.
